New Patient Information

Your First Visit

When you pick up the phone to contact Bear Branch Family and Cosmetic Dentistry or walk through our front doors, you’ll be greeted kindly and treated respectfully. We dedicate extra time for every patients (new or existing), but we are especially conscientious of ensuring we set aside the appropriate amount of time to build a foundation for new patients’ future care. Once you’ve been greeted, completed paper work, and had an opportunity to ask questions and express concerns, our hygienist accompanies you to a treatment room, where she completes a diagnostic work up including digital x-rays and photos. Then one of our skilled dentists takes the time to discuss potential oral health concerns, recommend possible treatments, and create a custom plan to ensure your oral health going forward.

Insurance & Payment Options

Patients invest in their dental insurance policies to help them finance necessary dental care, and we believe in making the most of that investment. Bear Branch Family and Cosmetic Dentistry partners with United Concordia, Aetna, and Assurant as an in-network provider, and we’re happy to process and file claims with any PPO insurance to assist patients in maximizing their benefits. We do ask that patients pay out of pocket expenses (unless otherwise pre-approved) at the time of treatment. We accept payment in cash, check, and most major credit and debit cards (MasterCard, Visa, American Express, and Discover).

Affordable Financing

It often comes as a surprise, but a survey of patients with dental insurance showed that the most common reason people avoided the dentist’s office wasn’t fear, anxiety, or even time. Inability to finance necessary care was the number one reason patients gave for skipping dental visits. At Bear Branch Family and Cosmetic Dentistry, we never want budget to keep patients from necessary care. That’s why we offer convenient, monthly payment plans to ensure patients are able to get the treatment they need without breaking the bank.
